Saturday Series: T-Shirt Builder

On Saturdays I like to share ideas that use a specific stamp or theme!! So I have finally caught up from the holidays and knew what I was gonna do for this Saturday Series!! I am so excited about the Dallas Cowboy game today!! I have been a Cowboy fan since I was a little girl, and dreamed of being a Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader. So how awesome is it when your team makes it to the play-offs, first time in about 20 years!! All this excitement made me grab the T-shirt Builder stamp set and get busy!! So to capture this moment I made some treats and a scrapbook page. I hope you like it!!

How fun is that??

The Scrapbook page is a pretty simple design, So I have space for all those victory pictures!! To make this page, I used the Star Framelits to make the stars and layered the stars using Silver Foil and Night of Navy. I stamped the Night of Navy background with the #1 from the T-Shirt Builder stamp set. To make the Cowboy shirt I printed "Cowboys" out on my computer on Whisper White cardstock, then I stamped the shirt with Smoky Slate. This stamp set is photopolyer (see through) so that made it so easy to line up. I added  the small star on the shirt from the Popcorn box thinlit set.

Here's a closer look at the right lower corner of the page!! Super fun!!!

Tell me this isn't the cutest popcorn box you have ever seen!!! I just squealed when I was done!!! I cut the Popcorn box out of Chocolate Chip cardstock, using the Popcorn thinlit. To make the "stitches" I just cut small strips of Whisper White and adhered them on there.  To make the star, I used the Star Framelits and layered them to cut out the center.

***if you haven't ever used the Popcorn Box thinlit, it cuts and scores for you. All you have to do is assemble!! Quick and easy!!

No football party is complete without chocolate!! I found these chocolates at Party City and they match perfectly!! I used the 2 x 8 bags and a fun tag!! I just love these!! I made 12 of them!! How fun is that!! I used the Metallic Ribbon that is FREE right now with a $50 order, right now during Sale-a-bration!!!  Who doesn't like FREE!!

Lined up like this, kinda looks like a defensive line!!!  ha-ha!!

I hope you liked these!! What makes this so great is even if you're not a Cowboy fan....there may be a couple of you out there!! ha-ha!! Just change up the colors and name and have some fun with game days!!!

Here are the supplies I used!!
Have a great day, hope you feel inspired!!

I have to share this fun little treat with you. I just makes me laugh when I look at these cute little treat bags. I used the Party Pants stamp set, and the Washi Label punch, and then  just started to crack up. You have to check these out......

Are those too fun or what???

Here's a closer look

I used the Washi label punch to make the pants, to me the In-Color designer Series paper was a perfect choice. They kinda look like hippie pants...hee-hee!!  I saw a card made with pants on a clothesline on Frenchie Stamps blog, and my mind went spinning!! This cute little stamp is from the new Sale-A-Bration stamp sets that were recently released, and you can get it FREE right now until the end of March.

Here is what the rest of this stamp set look like.

Saturday Series: Over the Rainbow Sunshine cards and treats

I wanted to share some fun ideas using the Over the Rainbow stamp set. On Saturday's I like to share items made using the same paper, or stamp set in different ways, if you have been following my blog I call it Saturday Series. This summer (especially today) is HOT one in Texas!! To have some fun this summer, I am having a Summer Sizzler promotion.... and trust me when I say it's sizzlin' outside today!! WOW!! These are some some fun treats that I will have for everyone at my classes this month. I made a cute card going along with this Sizzlin' theme for those who ordered online, along with their ticket stubs! (see bottom of post for info on Summer Sizzler) But lets get to the good stuff....the treats and card!!!

Are those fun or what?? I just love the colors....it just makes me happy!!

This little card is sure to put a smile on some one's face!! I will be mailing these to everyone who participated in my Summer Sizzler promotion. If they placed an order on line then their tickets will be in there card....like confetti!  :) I used the Schoolhouse Designer Series Paper to make this and added just a little sparkle from the Silver Glimmer paper.  Pretty fun!! What do you think??

For this little treat bag, I used the Sketched Dots Tag a Bag Gift bags. I just kept with the same color scheme and changed up the tag. How fun is that??

If you're wondering what I put in them, well these fun Watermelon candies I found at Sams. The watermelon candies just went perfect with this summer theme!!

If you have ever been to one of my classes, you know I like to give out little treats for everyone. So what better way to cool off than a Popsicle!! How fun is that!! I just used the largest size of the Deco Labels Framelits and used the trimmer to make 2 slits about 1 3/4" long, just long enough to slide the Popsicle in.

Here's another view.... Oh I am doing the happy dance!! I guess little things make me happy!! Too cute!!

Here's my bag:

Is that cute or what??

I think a little gift bag like this would make any one's day!! I put a couple pieces of bite size candy in mine. You could also slide in a gift card or just about anything that is a small "thinking of you" kinda gift!

Here's a picture that has a little bit more of a side view. Don't ya just LOVE the new Calypso Coral Trim???

Directions:

1. Pick two pieces of DSP the same pattern, cut 4 1/2" x 6 1/2".
2. Score each one, 1 inch down the two long sides and along 1 of the short sides
3. Fold along the lines and cut along the bottom up to the 1 inch line. Fold in and make tabs.
4. Repeat for both sides
5. On one of the sides, put Adhesive down both side flaps and bottom flap.
6. Nestle both sides together to form your bag.
7. Use the 2 1/2" circle punch and layer Happy Birthday stamped in Coastal Cabana, punched out with the decorative punch. I then layered it with another decorative label punch out of Coastal Cabana.  (I cut it in half to make it layer)
8. I folded a Tea Lace Dollie and secured it with Tombow.
9. Secure top with In-Color Printed clothespins.
10. Decorate with the Calypso Coral Pom Pom Twine and Baker's Twine.

Have a great day! And thank you for stopping by, I will have more fun projects tomorrow as we count down!
