I wanted to share this Wedding card and gift tag I made for one of our friends wedding. Her colors were navy and silver. That's one of my favorite things, that I LOVE about  making cards that we can make them personal and specialized for your family and friends. You and I  both know that if I looked everywhere that I would have a hard time finding a wedding card in  these specific colors. When people ask why do you make your own cards, they only ask until they see them........ then they understand the magic!! Is there anything any better than a handmade personal card to show how much you care??  Well maybe my mom's homemade bread!!! Ha-ha!!  So for their wedding card and tag, I used the Perfect Day stamp to make my ensemble. I hope you like it!!




Is that pretty?? I think so.. I was real happy how it turned out.

Here's a closer look at the card:




The base of my card was Night of Navy, to add some softness and romance I added a layer Fancy Foil Silver Vellum.  To add a finished look,  I also lined my envelope with the Vellum.




To keep the Silver theme going, I stamped the flowers in Metallic Silver Encore ink, it is just gorgeous! It add a simple shimmer and is just stunning. I completed the card with 5/8" Silver Satin Ribbon





I stamped the Wedding cake on the inside of the card, using the Metallic Silver Encore ink.









 Here's another look at the tag, on the gift. I think it turned out so nice and elegant. This stamp set Your Perfect Day is on the Retired list....so make sure to get it while you can!!

Elegant Wedding Card


This card has all the elements in my opinion of a "WOW" card. The White on white, instantly grabs your attention. I love the texture and the softness. I made this card for my step-son.  My sweet husband said "WOW". To me that's says it all

I stamped Fabulous Florets on the Vellum and used the Iridescent Embossing Powder. It just glistens.

I fussy cut around the flowers, and used a glue dot to adhere.
