So here's what I came up with using this clean and fun sketch.
I really like how this ended up. It was kinda like trying a new recipe, you like all the ingredients and when your done it actually tastes good and you think to yourself...... this is a keeper!!
The envelope is lined with the High Tide Designer Series paper. Are you wondering about the red and white striped paper? well it's from the Fresh Prints paper stack. I LOVE how it compliments!!
I was thrilled when I realized how the 'anchor' fit into the Sale-A-Bration banner punch!! It was a little Wahoo for me!! :)) Remember you can get the Banner Punch FREE during Sale-A-Bration with a $50 order, until the end of next month. It's a great little tool!
Did you notice the embossing? I was able to keep the arrows going straight by lining up all 3 of the blue pieces and embossing them at the same time. Not only did this save time, it kept my embossed pattern straight. I picked different hues of blue to go along with the whole sailing and water theme. What do you think?? I kinda thought the red and white behind the 'hello sailor' reminded me of a life preserver.
