Today I wanted to show you a card that combines Freshly made Sketches and  a color combo challenge from Create with Connie and Mary.  I don't know about you, but the Petal Parade (a FREE stamp you can earn this month with a $50 order during Sale-a-Bration) was kinda like a dark horse for me. When I first saw it, I thought "humm, another pretty flower" but let me tell you, it's a beauty!! I love the variety of flowers, it's SO versatile!! So when I saw Connie and Mary's Color challenge, I knew what I was gonna do!!

I really like the way it turned out!! This is where I got my inspiration, sketch #127 from Freshly Made Sketches, and  color combo #CCMC294 from Create with Connie and Mary.

CCMC294

Are you wondering about the envelop? Well this kinda happened by accident!! Here I was just stamping and having a good ole' time, and then I noticed I smudged the envelop with my inked up finger.... hummm.. never happened to you huh?  :) So that got me thinking...I decided to turn my mishap into a little treasure. So I cut the envelop with the envelope liner Framelit and a I got 2!! So I put back back on my happy face and stamped away. So really the liner is just an envelop cut with the Envelop Framelit and it turned out nice I think, whoosh!! :)

I so love the little dots from Happy Watercolor and I think they just added enough here, without being overstated. What do you think?

Here's more of a close up view, I just had to use one of the Vintage Faceted buttons, they are simply gorgeous!!

Items used:
Stamps: Happy Watercolor, Petal Parade (a Sale-a-Bration stamp, can get it FREE with $50 order till end of this month!!!)
Paper: Strawberry Slush cardstock, Modern Medley Designer Series Paper, Very Vanilla cardstock
Accessories: Staz-On Black Ink, Strawberry Slush Ink, Old Olive Ink, Vintage Faceted Designer Series Button, Strawberry Slush Ruffled Ribbon, Perfect Dots Embossing Folder.

Have a great weekend!!! See you Monday!!
