Tool Tuesday: Washi Tape

For today's tool Tuesday I wanted to highlight Washi Tape. Besides having a magical power to make everything cute..it's fun to say!!  :) Washi Tape is actually a Japanese decorative tape that is somewhat transparent and comes in many different patterns and designs.  "Wa" means Japanese and 'shi" means paper in Japanese.


Features:

  • has sticky power, but yet forgiving can be gently lifted to change positon
  • can rip it or cut it
  • can add to any card, party decor, home decor to add a pop of color
  • made from natural fibers like bamboo and wheat
  • biodegradeable because made from natural products
  • no sticky residue left over
  • less toxic to enviroment because made from natural products


Benefits:
  • no special training needed to use
  • can use  on paper, furniture,, dress up your dorm room, anything that may need a little color
  • easy to use
  • repositional
  • inexpensive
  • won't damage wood or furniture once you remove it
  • endless uses
