Stampin' Up For Peep's Sake Easter card

I wanted to share this ridiculously cute Easter card I made today, using the For Peep's Sake stamp set. I really love that little stamp set, when the Occasions catalog came was one of my favorites!!
I used the sketch from Create with Connie and Mary #CCMC343. I think this card  will be one that we make in class, as it is real cute, fun and just makes you happy...that's my kinda card!!

I really love the colors. This is just a fun little card that would be sure to brighten any one's day!!

Did you notice the little feather on top of the chicken??

I made the 'feather' on the top of the chicken's head by taking a piece of Daffodil Delight Seam Binding Ribbon and fraying the end. I basically pulled the edge off, and kept fraying the ribbon until I got enough of a fluff, for a feather. I attached the 'feather'  with a glue dot and popped the rest of the chicken up with a dimensionals. I fussy cut around the chicken.

The diagonal stripes are made using the Sweet Dreams Washi Tape and a strip of Wisteria Wonder Designer Series Paper.

I hope you feel inspired!! Here are the products I used:
