Stampin' Up Tee-Hee Halloween card

Halloween is just one of those little quirky holidays that I just have a blast with!! Here's a card I made using the new Tee-Hee stamp. When I firsdt saw this stamp in the holiday catalog I did hte happy dance!! So based my sketch from Freshl;y Made Sketches # 155 and Create with Connie and Mary's Color Challenge CCMC322.

Here is the sketch:

Here is the color challenge:

CCMC322

Well this was a challenge for me, even though I can't really explain it! You know when your hands are all a fumble and it just keeps turning out different than you had imagined. Does that happen to you??? Well if it doesn't.....then bless you!!  ha-ha!!

So here's my card:

Is that cute? I just LOVE the witch hat resting on the sign....kinda cracks me up!

To make the tag I used a Basic Black piece 2 1/2" x 3". the White piece of paper is 2 1/4" x 2 3/4". I knew I wanted to put my witch parking on a tag, but the Angled Tag Topper only makes tags 2 inches, I needed a bit bigger. So I  also cut a piece of Basic Black  using the Angled Tag Topper and slid it behind, and it worked like a charm. It allowed me to have a bigger tag, and just looks layered! Problem solved!! Shweeh!

It just made me happy when the 'witch parking' fit prefectly in the stop sign!! The hexagon is from Six Sided Sampler!  For the broom I used the Crushed Curry Marker on the bristle area and for the stick I used a Basic Black marker. Remember when you are using markers, always color the lighter color first, then the darker. This keeps you from blending accidently!!! (ask me how I know!!)   :)
