So here are my projects: I did one 4th of July scrapbook page, and a adorable cupcake waterfall card, and a super sweet, just in time for summer a watermelon sour cream container!! WAHOO!
4th of July Scrapbook page:
For this scrapbook page, I personally felt like it was pretty creative! Because it is a 4th of July scrapbook page made from Christmas items and Flowers!! What! Yes, that's one thing I love to do is to tweak something and give it a whole different look. To me that's what makes a tool, valuable. So I used a Paper Pumpkin Refill from Christmas,it's the Noel Paper Pumpkin. I used the striped paper and the star streamers from the kit. What do you think?
The firework spray is actually a flower and so is the small firework. They both come from the new set . To do the title page I actually stamped the flower off to give it a lighter color. I also used Gorgeous Grunge.
For this banner I cut the star and the banner out at the SAME time, so only one turn through the Big Shot. I used that star on the opposite page. I am in LOVE with the new Star Framewlits. I know my friends were like ' thank goodness they have star framelits, we scan stop hearing Janet whine! " :) The Star Framelits are AWESOME, you can easily layer and embellish!!!
Cupcake Waterfall Card:
This was my first waterfall card. I watched several tutorials and came up with this. I will post a video later this week. (so check back later) I used the new Cupcake Party Stamp to make this card, actually I think I used every stamp in the set for this card....ha-ha... it worked out perfect!
The colors used are Daffodil Delight and Strawberry Slush, and Soft Suede.
On the banner I used the new Dazzling Diamonds Glitter paper, VERY pretty! I used the banner punch to create the tips.
I used the Cupcake Punch to punch the top of the cupcake out. I had stamped a cupcake top below to give it a halo kinda look.
I used the Cupcake punch to cut the candles out of the In-Color Designer Series Paper and the flames out of Daffodil Delight.
Isn't that cute!
I used the Daffodil Delight Marker and the Strawberry Slush Markers to create the wording. The Dazzling Diamonds dots were from the Cupcake Punch,
The brads on the sides help support the movement of the card, they are the build a brad with melon Mambo inside.
Watermelon Sour cream Container:
I am taken by the new Designer Series Paper Back In Black. I just love it, very versatile and fun! This piece reminded me of seeds, so I thought it worked out perfect here.
Are you wondering how I made the Watermelon? It is made using the Kind & Cozy stamp set. I stamped the Gingham circle in Old Olive, and the circle in Strawberry Slush. The gingham circle fits perfect in the 2 1/2" Circle Punch, and pink circle can be cut with the 1 3/4" Circle punch. I used the 3/4" Scallop Circle Punch to take the 'bite' out of it.
The size of sour cream container is 5 1/2" x 5 1/2". The tag was made using the Scallop Tag Topper.
Have a great day! And THANK YOU for joining our blog hop!!
