I wanted to share a card I made using the So Sorry Stamp set. I made this card for a dear friend of mine who has recently been going through some rough times. I don't know about you but sometimes these are the hardest cards to make. The So Sorry stamp set is actually retiring which made me sad, because truly it is full of sentiments that are heartfelt and hard to say sometimes. I combined 2 challenges today for this card, the Freshly Made Sketch # 133 and Create with Connie and Mary's Color Challenge CCMC300.

CCMC300

When I saw these colors, I thought "wow, unsure if I am up to this color challenge but I really liked how it turned out. Perfect color choices for this type of card.

What do you think?

You know what's funny is the Epic Designer Series Paper goes perfectly with this color combo.

To get this color gradient, I first stamped the flower image in Black Staz -on. I then sponged Calypso Coral on the top, and then sponged Crumb Cake in the middle, and then sponged Basic Gray on the bottom. It is really a striking card in real life, the colors definitely convey a feeling! I love it!

I just wanted to share the So Sorry Stamp set, because it is on the retiring list, and in my opinion...it's a good one.

Items used:
Stamps: Morning Meadow (a hostess stamp), So Sorry
Paper: Whisper White cardstock, Basic Gray cardstock, Epic Day This and That Designer Series Paper, Crumb Cake Designer Series Paper
Accessories: Black Stazon Ink, Stamping Sponges, Crumb Cake Ink, Calypso Coral Ink, Basic Gray Ink.

Have a great day!!
